100 Things: Thank You Card 5/100

This was more an experiment than anything, I used some scrap fabric and the most fun setting on the sewing machine. If I was going to make another one, I would probably have a design in mind first rather going willy nilly and I would possibly cut a piece of card or felt to back the inside of the card and hide the holes or just simply clue an embroidered piece to the front.

Project: Make an embroidered thank you card
Difficutly: Easy-  depending on your design I imagine!
Cost: 30p

100 Things - Wee Pin Cushion House - 3/100

I started this pin cushion in December! Some of the stitching is terrible (as you can see!) but I can tell when I started in December and when I finished it today so it's nice to know I've definitely made an improvement in just a couple of months.

Project: A wee pincushion!
Difficulty: Straightforward
Cost:  £0.75

100 Things - Transformed skirt

Zipper Detail below.

This project was a little bit more involved. Unfortunately I don't have a before picture but originally it was a size 24 maxi skirt out of a charity shop. I had to hem it and then add a zipper.

Project: Upcycled skirt
Difficulty: Moderate but probably simple when you know what you're doing!
Cost: £3.00 (I will be using the spare materials for another project though!)

100 Things / Sewing Project: Draught Excluder

I just bought a sewing machine and I've decided that by the end of the year I will have sewn 100 things! I started with something simple to break in my machine.

Project: Upcycle old leggings into draught excluders
Difficulty: Super easy and super fast
Total Cost: £2.50
